Reconecting to Life is a collaborative project developed with PhD candidate Angela Patricia, focusing on self-esteem and psychological recovery after traumatic accidents that may result in physical disfigurement. The project specifically addresses cases of scalping caused by boat engine accidents and amputations resulting from traffic collisions.
This comic-style narrative aims to bring hope, emotional resilience, and self-worth to survivors, using a gentle, engaging approach. Through storytelling, it introduces breathing exercises and coping strategies in a way that is accessible and empowering.
The visual style is realistic, and the entire work was created using 100% digital illustration techniques.
