The Teacher's Society - Cover 2° Edition

For the second edition of the independent magazine The Teachers Society Netherlands, we explore the importance of nature in education from its very roots.

With the theme “Roots of Knowledge”, this cover seeks to evoke the presence of elders and Indigenous spiritual leaders — known in many Brazilian communities as pajés — who have long served as both educators and guardians of tradition. Seen as the first teachers in history, their role is deeply intertwined with nature, wisdom, and ancestral learning.

The natural iconography, including roots and books, symbolizes the organic transmission of knowledge — growing, branching, and nurturing generations through culture, story, and spirit.
